Our Mission

Barrett Ecological is a Portland, Oregon based Design/Build firm dedicated to providing ecological landscape solutions for residential and commercial properties using the principles of permaculture.

The landscapes we create include:

• Edible Plants: Because it’s so much more fun when you can have your landscape and eat it too!
• Native Plants: Beautiful specimens indigenous to our bioregion that thrive with little maintainance or water.
• Medicinal Plants: To heal the earth and the body.
• Rainwater Catchment: With cisterns and rain barrels, water caught from your rooftop can be used for irrigation, showers, and other water needs.
